If you haven’t heard already, Minnie Driver who is better known for her acting career is a song bird. She recently released her second album of original material and is playing The Casbah on Friday, August 10. Minnie Driver’s new album “Seastories†was released at the end of July and features performances by Ryan Adams and Liz Phair. Driver delivers if you like soothing, acoustic style music. At first, I did not know what to think when I heard Minnie Driver put out an album (half the time when an actor turns singer, you can’t forget the fact that they are an actor). After listening to a couple songs off the new record, I thought of Minnie Driver as a singer/songwriter, not just an actress.
