It looks like the new kid on the block just stepped it up a notch. Bar Pink Elephant had it’s grand opening on July 13, 2007 and already is a hit. They have added dj’s on certain nights of the week and have built a stage for bands to perform. The Spits along with Lady Trouble will be the first bands to break in the stage on Friday, August 17.
Since Bar Pink Elephant had it’s grand opening, the hours have been extended to both days and evenings. The bar not only adds class to the block, you can get $2.00 cans of Tecate and Pabst, $2.50 domestic bottles of beer and $3.00 well, $4.00 call liquor. Happy Hour is daily from 4-8pm where you get $1.00 off calls and drafts.
