Gaslamp Pizza normally have long lines during Comicon (the time that the pizzeria has the most business) and I haven't been to Basic. If you want to go further than the hot spots or if your hotel is nearby, there's a little pizzeria on Fifth near Broadway, and Broadway Pizza in East Village. If you can drive or have time to commute via public transportation, I highly recommend Bronx Pizza, located uptown in Hillcrest. Search for it via iPhone. It's so fun and tasty, haha.
