Bit of the East Coast on the West Coast – Jersey Fresh Dj’s at Bluefoot!

If you like Soul, Funk, hip-hop and Punk (gems not hits) then head to the Bluefoot Bar and Lounge tonight! The Jersey Fresh Dj’s have made a residency at the the Bluefoot Bar and Lounge on the 1^st and 3^rd Thursdays of the month. Luckily, these two were able to pick the night they spin – Thursday (as some like to call it, Friday Eve). They pretty much chose a night that iclose enough to the weekend in hopes of creating a fun environment surrounded by good music.

The Jersey Fresh Dj’s are Mikey Fresh and Adrian Solomea aka members of local band Sus Hijos. I have seen them spin at Bluefoot as well as Whistle Stop and they have a good collection of music that makes you stop every so often and think, “I am glad they are playing this band right now.” And the cool thing is, they may play music that sounds familiar but you just can’t place it. They are friendly enough to approach if you have questions about the songs and they will be glad to let you know who they are playing.

So, if you want to hear an eclectic yet satisfying mix of music in a fun environment, check out the Jersey Fresh Dj’s tonight, July 19 at the Bluefoot Bar and Lounge. And while you are there, you can check out artwork. There are new paintings by Vivi and Koi n Wonders will be showing until June 26^th.
