Last Thursday was TNT at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. The art exhibition was the same one from June , which was cool for me because this time I got to see the still frame movie. Attendance was much higher in June than July, which makes sense considering TNT followed Independence Day.
Upstairs a small group of people were dancing as you walked out on to the terrace. They must have been with the DJ, because they all looked liked they rolled in together. As you made your way to the terrace bar, there was a table setup with supplies for making paper collage: collaborative collage they call it. I made one and met some new people in the process. Highly recommend participating in the arts and crafts at TNT if you want to meet new people. Could be the next singles hotspot?
In the plaza, we saw The Brisbanes and The Prayers. A third act was added (Long Live Logos) but I did not catch their show. The Brisbanes signed a CD for our photographer, who really enjoyed their music - Thx.
It might have been a low attendance night, but there were a handful of local musicians in the plaza to see The Prayers, including some members from the Atoms, and Grand Ole Party. Plenty of bloggers too: Rosemary and Natalie to name a few.
