The 48 Hour Film Project comes to San Diego the weekend of July 13-15th. The purpose of the 48 Hour Project is to have local filmmakers come together to create a film in 48 hours. At the kickoff event, each team will draw the genre for its film out of a hat. Several film making teams are judged and begin work on Friday, July 13 at 7p and have to turn in their final film projects on Sunday, July 15 at 7:30p. What’s cool is that you get to see the screening of these films July 17-19th at Landmark Theatres in Hillcrest. The best of San Diego 48 Hour Film Project will be screened on July 19th.
