Anya Hindmarch is the British version of Kate Spade. Not quite a household name here in the states her bags have been seen on many a celebrity and socilite arm. As talks of banning plastic bags start to make waves so does her new bag. An ethical designer tote that was made to raise awareness of the issue and make it fashionable. When it came out 5 weeks ago. First it went on sale at a boutique, Keira Knightly was photographed with one, it was distributed as a goodie at chic Oscar parties and it sold out immediately. Several weeks later another 20,000 were released at 450 Sainsburys markets in Europe which is the equivalent of a Whole Foods here. People lined up at 2am to get these $7 totes that said ‘I’m Not A Plastic Bag’ on them. They are now completely sold out. Since these chic bags are only availible on eBay I am here to give you some alternatives.
