Biz Markie live at Canes Bar & Grill Friday, June 29th

“Oh, Snap!” I don’t know about you, but I miss hearing songs that are reminiscent of good ole’ times. Biz Markie’s song “Just a Friend” is one of those. And just to add some trivia: the “Oh, Snap!” expression was popularized by Markie’s song. Now is your chance to get down to the old school hip hop, Biz Markie will be performing at Canes Bar & Grill on Friday, June 29. Biz Markie has been considered to be the ambassador of hip hop and he has been quite busy these days. Markie was recently featured on ESPN, pimping out his new sneaker collection and is releasing a limited edition run of the Diabolical Biz Markie Beat Boxing Doll. Since Markie has not released a new album since 1993’s “All Samples Cleared”, you know you won’t be disappointed if you love his older songs. Local boys Sus Hijos will be one of the opening bands for Biz Markie at Cane’s Bar & Grill tonight, June 29. Sus Hijos were on the LA/SD leg of the tour supporting Biz Markie and were very excited to be part of the bill.
