That is correct, the headline is not a typo. Mexico defeated Brazil 2-0 last night in their Group B opener, and it was beautiful. But don’t take my word for it, watch the summary of goals below.
Next up is Group C, Colombia vs. Paraguay, which just got under way. Then later tonight Argentina plays the United States at 5:50PM. You can tune into both games on GOL TV, Cox Channel 417.

mario— where can i go see gol tv in terms of a bar or restaurant? recommendation?
i saw the mexico/brazil game- it was quite obvious that brazil did not care. mexico, on the other hand was all fired up. not to take anything away from mexico- that second goal was a hammer.

Sorry for the late response here. I would imagine Brazil would not take Mexico so lightly again, if that is the case.
There is a bar on the corner of 4th and J in the gaslamp, I forget the name but they had Gol TV on almost every screen the last two days. Take a friend though it was pretty empty.
