94.9’s Independence Jam was a blast. With Fred Wilson going on and on about Kings of Leon I knew we were in for a treat with them, and of course I was excited to finally see Interpol live.
Mario and I arrived in time to catch Grand Ole Party, Kings of Leon, and Interpol. Grand Ole Party was great, Kings of Leon jamming at the end of songs was awesome, and then to top it all off Interpol really knows how to put on a show.
We had enough battery juice (forgot to charge), and almost enough shoulder muscles (do not work out enough) to get a few videos of Kings of Leon. Sorry for the shake, enjoy the videos with Blair Witch effects and all.

Heck yes! The Kings. If you look at the McFearless footage, you can see my arm sticking right up high at the beginning of the song. Haha! Nice.
