San Diego CityBeat hosted “Bordering with Beauty” at Cream last Friday. We got there around 9ish and there were already a few hundred people floating around. I had forgotten how hot and funky it can get at Cream when it’s stuffed. Since the Neighbourhood Party, they’ve made a few aesthetic improvements to Cream, including new stained floors, but still no AC. Still have much love for Cream.

The Art from Tijuana artists Acamonchi and Aren Skalman were my favorites. Acamonchi’s graffeti art is like the cover of a Nortec Collective CD, but with edge.
