
Looking for something to do on St. Patrick’s Day? Head down to Balboa Park and partake in the San Diego 27th St. Patrick’s Day Parade Festival 2007. Best of all, it’s free.
The parade starts at 11 a.m. at Juniper Street and 6th Avenue in Balboa Park, before making its way up 5th Ave.
The festival includes will be Irish music, bands, an expanded Celtic village depicting ancient Irish life, complete with sword battling demonstrations, children’s zone, food, crafts and two beer gardens. It runs between 10:00am - 6:00pm.

2:30pm ~ U.S. Air Force Academy Quintet - Solaris

Tram Service:
The Festival Day Park Tram will run from Tram Central at the Inspiration Point parking lot on Park Blvd., through the Park to Sefton Plaza at the intersection of Balboa Drive and El Prado, then return through the park to Tram Central. 8:00 am until 5:30 pm. Every 15 minutes.
