Mikel Erentxun, Spanish Rock en Español singer will be performing live at Over the Border on Wednesday May 29th. Tickets are $20 at the door; doors open at 8p.m.; show starts at 10-ish.
Mikel Erentxun, ex-lead vocalist of the group Duncan Dhu, started his solo career in 1992. He has released six albums as a solo artist, which include his hit songs “A Un Minuto de Ti” and “Cartas de Amor (Cuando No Hay Amor)”. Erentxum is a big Morrissey fan and has covered The Smiths song’s, “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out”, as “Esta luz nunca se apagara”, as well as Morrissey’s “Everyday Is Like Sunday” as “Es Igual Siempre”.
