Consciously Social presented the 2nd annual Jeans for Justice 2007 on May 5th at the Bernard Gardens in Rancho Santa Fe. The proceeds raised from the event were to benefit the Center for Community Solutions in San Diego. Over 400 tickets at $75-$200 were sold the day before the event.

Jeans for Justice featured a fashion show, live entertainment, silent auction, local restaurants delicacies and signature cocktails. I personally liked the duck confit turnover. It was delicious.

We made our way to the VIP section for some free drinks. There was plenty of wine: red and white. They had a bartender making some strawberry lime basil and rum concoction drinks. I usually don’t like basil, but the cocktails were yummy.

The Bernard Gardens in Rancho Santa Fe is one awesome estate. It sits on the hillside of Rancho Santa Fe overlooking the valley. We got to sit back and relax and watch the hot air balloons flying by. Some one at the party said the property is valued at $20 million. It’s worth every gold penny. The live band had congas, and at times when we were walking around the property it felt as if they were coming from the amazon.

Part II is our coverage of the fashion show.
