On Wednesday, we took a break from the mundane to experience La Gusana Ciega and Pastilla concert at Over the Border, which was very special and relaxing. The show got started around 11pm with Pastilla. They had not played in San Diego in quite some time. Pastilla’s set got the audience pumped.
When La Gusana Ciega was ready, the audience crowded around the stage to enjoy their classic records and their new material. Just before the end, the band took us on an incredible journey by taking requests from the audience. It was a night of surprises with both bands having drinks at the bar, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Proof that Over the Border is the house of Rock en Español.
