Here is a riddle for you: Q: What do you get when you cross an experienced bar/restaurant manager with a Master’s degree, a successful published author, an award winning graphic designer and a brew master? A: The owners of Blind Lady Ale House in Normal Heights!

Blind Lady Ale House has opened it’s doors and the items on the menu are delighting taste buds throughout Normal Heights. Lee and Jenniffer Chase along with Jeff Motch and Clea Hantman put their heart and soul into creating a unique Ale House. Blind Lady serves a great selection of beer and they specialize in Neapolitan-style pizzas. On the menu, in addition to great pizza and beer, you can order fresh salads and food with kids in mind.

The unique thing about Blind Lady Ale House is their beer selection and the way the beer is poured. According to their website, “At the Blind Lady Ale House our beers are priced based on the amount you get in your glass. We pour 25CL into every piece of stemware. Glass sizes may vary, but the amount of beer you get does not.” Good news, they finally received their Blind Lady glassware that has a pour line and allows for a bigger head (beer term).

Blind Lady Ale House has been welcomed with open arms to the Normal Heights area. Their Neapolitan-style pizza is topped with fresh-made mozzarella and they use local vegetables and sustainably produced meats. Here are some photos of people enjoying Blind Lady Ale House:
