This year New Year’s Eve dresses are all about embellishments from Fringe to Sequins you can’t go wrong with that little black dress that has that little something extra. Last year i said Fringe, and you would think Minnitonka boots and fringed purses but this year its all about that 1920′s sex appeal. My first pick would be the handmade Eden dress from With Hearts in My eyes. The 22 inch fringe is hand dyed and the dresses are made to your body specifications. For something you can dress up or down try Betsey’s Fringe Skirt. Dress it up with a slinky cami or dress it down with a fitted vneck and some fun accessories. For the fashionable on a budget try Targets Limited Edition Go International Fringe Dress.

Somehow sequins have always meant NYE to me. Maybe it’s the resemblance to a disco ball but it seems there is always that girl at the party so shiny she screams Hey come look at me! For me sequins have to be placed with care. Try this Charlotte Ronson racerback dress. The sequins are minimal yet sexy with a racerback and low cut front and the wool of the dress makes it warm enough to wear without that giant winter shrug. For those with a high budget this NYE check out Marc for Marc Jacobs Karly Special Dress. With it’s price tag over $500 this asymmetrical dress is not for the meek. For those who would like there one time wear dress to cost less than a ticket to the gaslamps clubs check out Forever 21′s sequin mini dress with sleeve embellishments.
