I heard on this morning's news that the landfill at Miramar is hurting that it isn't receiving as much junk as they used to and therefore is not collecting enough in fees. After all we have heard about recycling (and we could recycle a great deal more if we had a green cycling program) I think it's outrageous to complain we're not sending enough suff to the dump. Give me a break!! If the city had had a "put money aside for a rainy day" program instead of spending as much as they could as fast as they could without taking care of business, they wouldn't be hurting so much now.
