Remember Pretty in Pink and how Andie’s family couldn’t afford to get her a prom dress so she made her own. Well some ladies are not as talented as the lovely Andie but still need a prom dress. Here enters the Princess Project . The Princess Project promotes self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who cannot otherwise afford them.

So dig through your closet, find those dresses you might have worn to prom.. or even last years New Years Eve bash. Hey maybe some girl wants to wear that lovely sea foam bridesmaid dress with the espresso sash sitting in your closet?? Gather them up and drop them off at any of these participating boutiques for this Sunday’s Pay It Fourward in Northpark from 12-6.
