Earlier last week we did a posting about a Keep A Breast and their unique foundation. October is breast cancer awareness month and to help raise awareness and support our good friends at Keep A Breast would like all of you to check out the auctions taking place on Ebay ending tomorrow!
50 of the 82 casts up for bid are all busts of San Diego women including Amber from the Glossines, Pro surfer’s Cassia Meador and Jen Smith and several breast cancer survivors. These casts were then given to leading San Diego artists including Chivo, Adam Hawthorn, Kelly Murrey and Pamela Yeager. Also included are some celbrity casts including those painted by Mark Motherbaugh of DEVO, Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth and Iggy Pop. Please take a few moments to check out the amazing casts. These casts are so unique and so beautiful. The work of the artists and bid to make a difference!
