Warren Buffet was at KPBS Studios yesterday to speak to Charlie Rose. The topic was our nations financial crisis, Buffett says Congress needs to do something or else it will get worse. I am not sure though if Buffett would agree with the bailout bill passed by the Senate, it includes loads of special provisions, known as pork, including:
- $223M for Alaskan fisherman
- $192M for rum producers in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands
- $128M for auto racing
- $33M for companies operating in American Samoa
- $10M for film & TV production
- $6M for producers of wooden arrows
