Ximena Valero will be at SD Fashion Week if you missed them and is already a bit into the celebrity circuit with her designs being seen on the likes of Jessica Alba and others. Her outfits seemed incredibly well crafted but I was confused by the show. My negative comments can only be constructive criticism for their next show.

The first three models came out wearing full motorcycle space aged helmets and then you didn’t see them again till randomly at the end. And the shoes!! The shoes that the ladies wore were absolutely distracting as they were cheap and hookerish. Suede boots with rhinestone stars, multi colored shiny heels and more just distracted from the outfits. Then lets not even go into the amount of panties and panty lines that I saw. If you are going to send models down the runway in a dress so short you see their panties, have them wear matching colors and not baggy white granny panties… or was that the look? Please explain.

Besides the amount of distractions that engulfed the show some of the looks were absolutely amazing. There was a Blue mini with ruffle and bow that could have was very Marc for Marc and I could see on Blair Waldorf or Little J. Their was also a stunning black dress with flutter collar and sleeves that I could see was made with Jessica Alba in mind, a great bubble striped cardigan balero and the standout piece was a black polka dotted vintage pin-up style onsie that would be perfect on Dita Von Teese. Ximena Valero - some of your clothes are great, get a stylist for your shows… PLEASE!
