There is bad news for those that were looking forward to seeing Boy George (aka George Alan O’Dowd) perform at Viejas Casino Concerts in the Park on July 12. The show has been canceled and you will have to wait until next year.
After continuous efforts, Boy George was refused a visa into the United States and will not be able to make his North American tour. According to a press release, Boy George is still scheduled for a South American tour in September and a 25-date tour across the UK in October of this year. The singer’s North American dates will be rescheduled for Winter 2009.
If you bought tickets for the Viejas Casino Concerts in the Park performance, check with the venue regarding refunds.
