A storm rolled into San Diego today and dropped some hail around town. According to the National Weather Service this thunderstorm will linger around San Diego until Sunday night and may drop 1 to 3 inches of snow on Mount Laguna.

I captured the storm’s movement from my balcony in east Chula Vista and some hail on the ground. What other areas of the county did hail drop on?

Ocean Beach got a dose of hail. I was sitting in the surf when I thought that marshmallows were falling from the sky.

I got hail in Carmel Valley, it was really big too, not normal hail that comes with rain, many of it being up to an inch wide
