More musical acts for your money! The 2008 COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL line-up has been updated! As of March 11, 2008 the following bands have been slated to play: Aphex Twin, Goldfrapp, Kate Nash, Serj Tankian, Redd Kross, and Adele. I have a feeling ticket holders are in store for a few more surprises at this year’s ninth annual festival set for Friday, April 25, Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA.
Also, for you campers, there will be premium on-site camping this year! According to their website, “COACHELLA is now offering onsite lodging with premium tent accommodations. Two, four or six person tent packages include brand new tent accommodations ready for guest arrival. The comfort packages feature air beds with sleeping bag and pillows for each camper. Beyond the sleeping accommodations, campers in this special area will enjoy larger camping plots with more privacy, as well as access to upgraded amenities including deluxe showers and restrooms, complimentary breakfast buffet and adjacent parking. Various premium camping configurations range from the “Tent Hotel” to the “Safari Tent”-a fully furnished air-conditioned bedroom with an outside seating area.” Additional details and prices for these camping packages is available at http://coachella.com/visitors/onsite-lodging.

Yeah - knew that. Sometimes when I am writing my brain and hands don’t connect. Looking forward to seeing him though (Richard James aka Aphex Twin)
