The Union Tribune reports that San Diego State University will place a 2,800-square-foot art gallery at the Electra Project on West Broadway and Kettner Boulevard. According to the Tribune, the space is being donated rent-free for 60 years by Bosa Development, the developers of the Electra project.

The Electra Project was built on a property that was originally home to the San Diego Electrical Railway Company. In 1998 the property was designated a historical landmark according to Bosa Development’s website.
