Kate Ross Shoes and Kalos Designs are celebrating the official grand opening of their joint effort tonight! The shop is located in North Park, right next door to Bar Pink Elephant on University Ave. The event is from 6-9pm Thursday, January 17 and DJ’s Gabe Vega and Saul Q will supply the ear food. Speaking of food, there will be appetizers and drinks by Ryan James Davis. So, check out the new kid on the block (I have already spent some quality time there) and mingle with artists while shopping for great shoes and housewares.

Next up, you won’t have to go far, Aspects of Physics will be performing tonight at Bar Pink Elephant with a DJ set by Rob Crow (Pinback). Aspects of Physics are local and play instrumental experimental music. You can shop til 9p then make your way next door to Bar Pink Elephant for tunes and booze.
