Tragic Accident on the 78

A woman traveling in a van with one other adult passenger and 3 children crashed into a small compact car on the 78 last night around 9pm and was ejected from her van onto the other side of the freeway into oncoming traffic. She was then run over by 4 vehicles including a sheriff deputy. Both sides of the freeway were closed. The woman died and one of the children suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Childrens Hospital. Our thoughts go out to the families involved.
