A Special Edition to Ray at Night!

This Saturday, November 10, is Ray at Night. This time around, the Planet Rooth Gallery on Ray Street is featuring the artwork of Michael Turi (SUS HIJOS, MAJIC JACKSON, faceANDsalomea, and also known as DJ Mikey Face of the JERSEY FRESH DJs). There will be an opening party from 6-11p on Saturday, November 10th. Ray at Night is such a great venue for local artists to be recognized for their work and make some money.

The 26-year-old Turi is orginally from New Jersey and this will be his first solo gallery show in California. The paintings Turi will be showing at the Planet Rooth gallery, are all acryclic illustrations that have been done over the the past 3 years as well as never before seen paintings from his new series. You can also find Mikey at Bluefoot Bar and Lounge, where they also feature local artists.

This will be a fun event and the atmosphere of the gallery will accomodate the paintings. As a background to the viewing experience, there is a 25 minute long piece of music that Turi and others collaborated on to set the mood.Ray at Night is held on the second Saturday of every month and involves over 30 art galleries and businesses in North Park. Hours: 6-10pm.
