For the first time in their 15 season history, the Colorado Rockies advance to the World Series after beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-4 and winning 21 of 22 games in one month. You may recall the Rockies beat the Padres in an eventful one game playoff for the wild-card spot in the playoffs. The Rockies will spend eight days idle waiting for the winner of the American League Championship Series, either Cleveland or Boston.
