The weekend is almost here, and Mario and Victor just left to the RedBull Air Race to get us some video. While we wait for them to report back lets recap some of this week’s major headlines.

- The Padres are sitting 1/2 game behind the first place Diamondbacks after winning seven in a row. The streaking Padres seek eight in a row against the Rockies, Game starts at 7:05PM at Petco.
- The chargers need all the support they can get, and maybe a new play book, after last weeks loss to the Patriots. Chargers get a chance to make amends with fans Sunday against the Packers.

- The Port of San Diego is offering free tours for San Diego residents.
- Looking to capitalize even further on the Kyla Ebbert incident, Southwest Airlines honors the miniskirt with fare sale.
