The White Stripes won’t be traveling to San Diego this time around to support their sixth and latest album, “Icky Thump.” According to the White Stripes website, “Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time.” Not only did they cancel Tuesday’s show at Coors Amphitheatre, but they also backed out of their show in Inglewood which was scheduled a week from today. If you bought tickets, return to the place of purchase and you should get your money back.
Don’t feel too bad, the duo based in Detroit also canceled shows in Berkeley, Albuquerque, N.M., and Austin, Texas.
