ASR Kickoff Party Featuring B-Real and Cypress Hill at Belo 9/6

It was billed as the “Official Kickoff Party” for Action Sports Retailers trade show, which rolled through the Gaslamp last week. Hosted bar was offered for those with ASR badges from 9pm-10pm. But this was not enough to draw the attendees. Instead, the place slowly filled with San Diego natives. By 11:30 Belo had a fair size crowd for a Thursday night and everyone waited in anticipation of B-Real and Cypress Hill. Ten minutes till midnight, the main room was full. We all expected B-Real to take the stage at Midnight, but to our surprise he got started at 11:50p.m. Very cool. We only stayed for a few songs. Enjoyed B-Real rapping to the music from Fat Joe’s hit “Lean Back”.
